Through the lens of GFDA, Co-founders Brian and Jason present valuable insight from their lives as designers, business partners, freelancers, educators, hobbyists and best friends. Narrating the beginnings of their side project turned international business, they recount their successes and failures (mostly failures) of their design inspired, bootstrapped startup. They also enjoy ranting about the importance of passion-projects and what it takes to bring your creative ideas to fruition.
In addition to sharing their GFDA experience, Brian and Jason also conduct workshops on Developing User Empathy and Design Concept Development.

“Knocked it out of the f#cking park! Jason and Brian give a great story behind what makes GFDA such a success: inspiration, passion, failure, and something that is truly unique. They connected right away with the students and didn’t let off the throttle until we closed up shop. If you’re looking for a true, homegrown, working out of the basement success story...then look no further.”

“Hesitating to ask Brian and Jason to speak because they use the f-word? Don’t. Their project and presentation is about passion, drive, honesty, risk-taking, mishaps, recoveries and the pursuit of excellence. They were charming and engaging while seamlessly delivering a well-prepared and extremely professional presentation. Well Done!”
