Good Fucking Design Advice, Reinvented

Good Fucking Design Advice

Good Fucking Design Advice was conceived over burnt coffee in 2010. In a few short years it has become the official website of designers and creatives who give a damn—including such folks as Apple’s Chief Design Officer Jonathan Ive, New York Times bestselling author Cheryl Strayed, and HGTV star Genevieve Gorder.

Recently relocated to Brooklyn, New York in 2014, it has enjoyed five years of failures, catastrophes, and family friendly content. To celebrate these colorful years, co-founders and internationally known C-List Internet Celebrities Brian Buirge and Jason Bacher announced today that the brand refresh and new website of GFDA have officially been launched.

GFDA officials expect this refresh to greatly improve the overall visitor and customer experience by capitalizing on new mobile technology to create seamless online advice-giving and shopping experiences regardless of platform.

When asked for a quote, Co-founder/Bad Cop Jason Bacher stated, “It’s so great it will change the way you look at the internet.” Fellow collaborator/Co-founder/Good Cop Brian Buirge followed with, “Yeah.” The duo further expressed their excitement to finally have a website that was responsive and had caught up with the web standards of 2012. When pressed, Brian later added, “Design-wise, we’ve been ahead of the curve—especially with the recent trend of clean sterilized design, so we’re pleased to be working hard to catch up with the internet trends and standards of yesterday.” Jason followed with, “Hey, I said that first.”

In addition to a new design, a smattering of fresh content, and a handful of new products, GFDA encourages visitors to be on the look out for fantastic new features like: spelling and grammatical errors, broken links, missing images, and malfunctioning code.

Looking forward to the next five years, GFDA intends to uphold its mission to champion designers and creatives who motivate their own fucking selves.
